Clark Electric Cooperative supports, encourages, and sponsors high school students through programs such as the Youth Leadership Congress (YLC) which is conducted by the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association (WECA). This is a great opportunity for students to learn through a mix of seminar sessions, hands-on activities, and team-building experiences. Students are equipped with information to handle a variety of real-life issues and are given the opportunity to identify and explore their leadership potential. The next year’s program is planned and conducted by teens that have attended the conference, which gives them the opportunity to enhance the program for the next year.

Clark Electric Sponsored 3 students to this years 60th Youth Leadership Conference held at University of Wisconsin-Stout. There were 73 high school students there representing 15 Wisconsin electric cooperatives.
